to celebrate 5 fabulous years we decided we should take a trip. we didn't know where.
we thought about everything.
maybe go back and visit NYC again
maybe paris again and eat all of our favorite foods
we thought a cruise could be fun
we had lists and lists and to shorten it we decided we should go somewhere we hadn't been yet...and somewhere we wouldn't have to fly over 7 hours to arrive.
we decided on seattle/vancouver. i think a lot of it had to do with the fact the olympics had just ended and we had seen all the cool places vancouver had to offer.
so april 30 - may 9th we saw and ate as much as we could.
a few highlights....
we got to see matt and mel and their adorable children for a few days in seattle. probably my favorite part.
then we traveled up and spent a day in gorgeous victoria with corrina and family. it was wonderful seeing her and her cute family.
last stop was vancouver where duben's family joined us.
vancouver was beautiful. it was amazing having the coast and mountains all together. for our anniversary we went on a seaplane around the city and up in the mountains. it was beautiful.
ainsley did fantastic and loved getting out and seeing so many fun places and people. and the people just loved her everywhere we went. we joked that we went to the mall which should have taken 30 minutes, but ended up over an hour because of all the people who wanted to stop and talk to her.
it was a wonderful trip. fun to see new places and be with friends and family.
